Program Guidelines

1. This is not a fundraiser. This is a service to the community.
2. The Menu changes every month. It will consist of both Frozen and fresh item such as meats, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and desserts. A unit is the equivalent of a $50-$70 trip to the grocery store.
3. One unit will help feed a single adult/senior or teenager for about one month or a family of four for one week.
4. Food is not out dated or damaged. It is similar to the fresh, quality products you find in your local grocery store.
5. There is no limit to the number of units that can be purchased.
6. There is no qualification process. If you eat food this is for you.
7. You Must have a receipt to pick up your food.
8. The low cost per unit is $30.00 (may vary due to circumstances beyond our control).
9. Angel Food Ministries and Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren do not provide refunds or credits.

Watch for the “Angel Food Banner” at the church. Traveling west on Route 45 from Mifflinburg, the church is approximately 2 miles outside of town.

Payment:

You may pay in person using cash, money order, or food stamps/EBT card at the location dates and time listed.

EBT card payments require a photo ID. The person listed on the card is the only one that will be allowed to purchase the food with that card.
